On July 22, 2008, Charles River Publishing became a division of Saltus Press. Saltus Press is a 102 year old family-owned business located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Our operation in Charlestown has closed. Our employes and equipment have been relocated to the Worcester facility. It is a good marriage: the two companies have the same type of equipment, serve similar clients, and most importantly, possess the same values and high standards of customer service. Like any marriage, the goal is to make life better for all by combining forces. We will be able to offer more 4 color with an upgraded 44 cold web units and 4 folders. Saltus's state-of-the-art, direct-to-plate equipment will provide better quality printing, faster and with less waste. Saltus' 24/7 operation also has quality sheet-fed and digital printing. The merger also enhances our bindery and direct mailing operations. Another Division, Overly prints items such as academic planners, stationery, and student handbooks for more than 2,000 colleges and universities. By joining Saltus Press, we now have the ability to provide one-stop-shopping for all your printing needs.
